WELCOME TO SPONGEDADDY.COM
HOME OF DWAIN "SPONGE DADDY" KOCH
Disabled Professional Bowler & Motivational Speaker
Hello there!  We are honored and humbled that you took the time to visit us here at
spongedaddy.com.  Whether you came here on a recommendation, saw an
advertisement, or read the link on one of the red noses we distribute, we appreciate the
time you have taken to spend with us here at SpongeDaddy.com.
This web presence was created to serve the disabled community by our writings and
teachings.  Many of these lessons we learned the hard way, some we are still learning.
Our goal here is to reach those of you who cannot afford or do not have access to
self-help books.  The essays, designed to help you cope with your troubles, are listed
under the button titled "
SpongeOsophy Essays."  Also, this site serves as a way for my
fans to follow my professional bowling career and my journey through life as I battle
Crohn's disease and other ailments.  Even though I was told I would never work again, I
hope to show those of you that just because your body fails you, you do not have to stop
chasing your dreams.
Click on one of the buttons to browse around.  The button titled "
Warrior" contains a
letter of reference from my friend, mentor and life coach Warrior, once known as the
wrestling champion "Ultimate Warrior."
"
Leaning Post" is our newest addition.  It contains a link to a messsage board hosted by a
friend in Ireland, Bryan Sheary.  This section of his board is a place where people can
draw wisdom from others, or mentor those in need of help.
  The
Tournaments section links you to tournaments I am helping to promote, not
necessarily bowl in
I must tell you that one thing I have learned is one must be willing to adapt and change
certain things to survive in this world.  However, we cannot let life lead us.  Whether you
have a difficult life, a long life or a life that will be shortened by illness, you must not lose
focus on who you are and what you want to do with your life.  Whatever life you have left,
live it to your fullest potential.
Our slogan is "One More Frame!" for those times during bowling when I am not sure my
body will let me throw one more ball.  I tell my self, "just one more frame," and put all that I
have into it.  One can tackle life the same way, if they so choose.  I hope what you find
here will help you lift yourself up and soar above the ordinary.
For those of you who are not quite sure what I am all about, please take the time to read
the following essay, "
Epiphany" for a brief explanation for all of this.

Be well,

Sponge
